The Brooder units are designed to safely and comfortably accommodate birds from hatching to attaining a standing erect height of 10.6 inches. The units are contained in a rack from which they are removable. The automatic heating elements and thermostats are easily removed so that all the other parts can pass through a cage washer. The cage, as a whole, disassembles into watering and feed troughs, cage top cover, excreta pans, floors, and cage bodies.

This product is very similar to the rabbit cage concept. However, the cage floor is of wire stock that is quite suitable for polyvinyl chloride coating for comfort and quiet. Be assured that this floor will stand up to years of "pecking". Dimensionally, the cage is much taller than the rabbit cage and has feed and water bowls similar to the pigeon design. These cages come in racks of varying configurations and capacities. Each equipped with either cooper-nickel-chrome plated or stainless steel casters with brakes, grease fittings, and gray or orange non-marking tires.
