The R-100 Series Universal Health Guard System was developed to be completely dismantled and passed through an autoclave. While not designed as a containment system for exotic rodents with immune system deficiencies, these systems can be configured over and over again for the housing of conventional rodent population. The system consists of a shelf made of perforated stainless steel or aluminum that is available in several sizes and cage capacities. These shelves are completely adjustable. The animals can be watered using either bottles or automatic systems. A shelf transport/wash rack is available (LT102S) for transporting to the washer. A large rack washer is unnecessary.
